Their name juxtaposes the main peculiarities of the vice given by its extreme compactness and manageability with the name of the insert system it adopts, so-called “GRIP.” This system consists of a range of modular jaw inserts mounted on top of the main jaw body with the function of clamping the part to be machined by means of sharp or conforming teeth depending on the type of material and hardness.
