The 5G vise represents the best technological solution currently available for clamping on 5-axis machining centres, offering an unprecedented combination of functionality and benefits. Thanks to it’s versatility and stability, this vise can ensure high precision and repeatability of clamping on all faces of the workpiece.
Anchoring brackets can be used to fix both jaw supports in place, stiffening the structure and minimising the deflection that normally occurs when clamping at a high height, once the desired opening has been established.
Furthermore, thanks to the screw system, which works in close proximity to the clamping surface, we have been able to significantly increase the height of the workpiece clamping without reducing the clamping force.
Final clamping is very comfortable and instantaneous, thanks to a special guide inserted inside the jaw group, which moves the jaw and allows a 6 mm stroke.
The 5G vise , designed to meet today’s most demanding requirements, are very flexible, allowing the choice between different base lengths and jaw heights, up to a maximum opening of 510 mm and a clamping height of 190 mm.
They can also be adapted to new clamping operations in a few seconds, thanks to a wide range of jaws with a quick-change system, from clamping on raw parts with hardened pins to finished parts with ground jaws, through workable jaws that adapt to any shape.
